On the last date, the petitioner in Writ Petition No.4107/2024 was present in Court along with his wife, despite the fact that we had not asked them to remain present. The petitioner and his wife informed the Court that they would be 2/3
relocating outside Maharashtra. They also mentioned that their daughter-in-law had recently given birth to a baby boy and, due to the delays, they no longer wished to pursue the case. In view of what was disclosed to us by the petitioner on the last date, we deem it appropriate to request Mrs. Manjula Rao, learned senior counsel, to appear in the aforesaid matter as an amicus curiae. Mrs. Rao has graciously accepted the request. Learned A.P.P to provide a copy of the petition, the relevant orders, and the record of the Magistrate to Mrs. Rao during the course of the day, to enable her to go through the papers.
