The petitioner in the said complaints has made grievance against the police officers attached to Boisar Police Station.
Mr. Konde Deshmukh, learned Addl. P.P informed us on the last date that the petitioner's complaints have been closed by the Boisar Police Station.
Considering that the allegations were against the very same police officers, it was not proper for them to have conducted an inquiry and decided the petitioner's representations and thereafter, closed the same. When the same was brought to our notice, we had requested Mr. Konde Deshmukh, learned Addl. P.P to take instructions from the Superintendent of Police, Palghar, with respect to the case in hand, by placing before the Superintendent, a copy of the petition.

Today, Mr. Konde Deshmukh, learned Addl. P.P, on instructions of the Superintendent of Police, Palghar, states that the petitioner's complaints which were closed, will be re-opened and that the same will be looked into by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shri Naik attached to Boisar Division. Mr. Konde Deshmukh further states that the inquiry into the petitioner's complaints will be supervised by the Superintendent of Police. Statements accepted.
We expect that the petitioner's representations/complaints will be decided by the authorities fairly and impartially, in accordance with law. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition, at this stage. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
