By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks a direction for quashing and setting aside of the Look Out Circular ('LOC') dated 8th August 2024 issued by the Respondent No.1, i.e., at the behest of L.T.Marg Police Station, qua the Petitioner.

Perused the papers.

The Applicant has been arraigned as an accused in C.R.No.447 of 2024 registered with the L.T.Marg Police Station, Mumbai for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Pursuant thereto, the Petitioner filed an 1/3

Anticipatory Bail Application before the learned Sessions Judge, being Anticipatory Bail Application No.1643 of 2024. The learned Sessions Judge vide order dated 21st August 2024 granted pre-arrest bail to the Applicant on certain terms and conditions. The said terms and conditions read thus:

"i) Applicant shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

ii) Applicant shall not tamper with any of the prosecution witnesses, directly or indirectly. iii) Applicant shall not misuse his liberty.

iv) After returning from abroad, applicant shall attend the concerned police station between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on every alternate Wednesday for a period of 2 months or till filing of charge-sheet whichever is earlier.

v) Applicant shall furnish his detailed address and mobile number to the investigation officer and the concerned court. In case applicant change his residence/address and mobile number, he shall furnish the same to the I.O and concerned court." 4.

Learned APP, on instructions, states that till the time investigation is in progress, the Petitioner be directed to furnish his 2/3

itinerary, if he intends to travel overseas. She further states that since pre-arrest bail has been granted, the police of L.T. Marg Police Station, Mumbai will withdraw the LOC issued against the Petitioner forthwith, and in any event, within 72 hours from today. Statement accepted.

Needless to state, that in the event, the Applicant intends to travel overseas, the Applicant shall furnish his itinerary to the L.T.Marg Police Station including the places where the Petitioner would be residing and his contact numbers and also inform the police of his return, till such time, charge-sheet/any other report is filed against the Petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration.

The Petition stands disposed of accordingly on the aforesaid terms.
