DATE : 10th JULY, 2025 P.C.:- 1) Husband (Petitioner No.1); father-in-law (Petitioner No.2) and mother-in-law (Petitioner No.3) of Respondent No.2, have filed the present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for quashing of C.R.No.0770 of 2022 dated 31st October, 2022 registered with Byculla Police Station, Mumbai under Sections 498-A, 313, 377, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, with the consent of Respondent No.2, the informant.
2) Ms.Darshana Vora i/b. Advocate Ms. Kenny Thakkar submitted that she will file Vakalatnama of Ms.Kenny Thakkar in the Registry during the course of the day. The said statement is accepted. 3) Learned Advocate appearing for Respondent No.2 submitted that Petitioner and Respondent No.2 have settled their matrimonial disputes amicably and Respondent No.2 is giving her consent for quashing of the crime in question. She tendered across the bar Affidavit of 'No Objection' of Respondent No.2 dated 27th September, 2024, duly affirmed before a Notary Public. It is stated therein that, the disputes inter se between the parties are now settled and she has no objection for quashing of the present crime.

3.1) Though Respondent No.2 is not personally present in Court, learned Advocate Ms.Vora submitted that Respondent No.2 has given her instructions to admit the contents of Affidavit dated 27th September, 2024 and to give 'No Objection' on her behalf. The said statement is accepted. 4) In view of the above, Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).
