1) Ms. Anita T. Suryawanshi, A.P.I. attached to Juhu Police Station, Mumbai has filed an Affidavit dated 27th January, 2026. In Paragraph No.7 thereof it is stated that, Petitioner No.2 had been to Police Station for recording his statement and his statement has been recorded on 17th July, 2024. However, without signing the said statement, the Petitioner No.2 left the Police Station. That, despite reasonable requests made to the Petitioner No.2, he did not remain present for the further inquiry and signing his statement.

KSG 52-WP-5153-2024.doc 2) Learned APP on instructions submitted that, if the Petitioner remains present before the Inquiry Officer i.e. Ms. Suryawanshi on 27th February, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., his signature will be obtained on his statement dated 17th July, 2024, and if he desires of giving additional statement, the same will be recorded.
3) Mr. Pendse, learned counsel appearing for Petitioners on instructions submitted that, the Petitioner No.2 will attend the Juhu Police Station, Mumbai on 27th February, 2026 11:00 a.m. 4) Stand over to 6th March, 2026.
