P. C. :- 1) By this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, Petitioner, the informant in C. R. No. 115/2024 dated 4th May, 2024 registered with Pimpalgaon Police Station, Nashik (Rural), under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of the I. P. C. is seeking a writ and/or direction to the concerned Investigating Agency to complete investigation of the said crime expeditiously.

2) We have perused original record of investigation. Record reveals that the Investigating Officer has addressed a letter dated 13th January, 2025 to the Tahasildar, Taluka Niphad, District Nashik seeking information and documents pertaining to RTS Revision Application No. 237/2022 and other revenue record of mutation entries and revenue 1/2

Amk 67-wp 5755-25.doc extracts for the purpose of investigation of the present crime. Subsequently three other reminders dated 16th January, 2025, 3rd March, 2025 and 16th October, 2025 are also issued to the Tahasildar, Niphad, however, till date concerned Revenue Authority has not submitted necessary documents of the present crime and therefore, investigation of crime could not be completed till date.

Though it is the mandatory legal duty of the Tahasildar, Niphad to assist the Police Authority in the investigation of the crime, the Tahasildar, Niphad has failed to respond to communications addressed to it by the Investigating Officer of the present crime. 3) We, therefore, direct the Resident Deputy Collector attached to the Office of the Collector of Nashik to personally remain present before this Court on Thursday, i.e. on 13th November, 2025 along entire Revenue Record which is required for the purpose of investigation of the present crime.

4) Learned APP is directed to communicate this Order to the Resident Deputy Collector, Nashik, District Nashik by all possible legal modes.

5) Stand over to 13th November, 2025.
