These two Petitions are placed on board as per the order dated 20th January 2025 for compliance of the directions

mentioned in the paragraph No.7 of the said order. The accused were directed to deposit an amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) each with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa on or before 10th February 2025. The Petitioners in Criminal Writ Petition No.3025 of 2024 have complied with those directions and learned counsel for the Petitioner in Criminal Writ Petition No.3025 of 2024 has tendered photo copies of the receipts signed by him as true copies. Thus, there is a compliance by the Petitioners in Criminal Writ Petition No.3025 of 2024. Therefore, it is finally disposed of.

As far as Criminal Writ Petition No.5953 of 2024 is concerned, the Petitioner - Amit Majumdar could not deposit that amount because according to the learned counsel appearing for him today, submitted that he was admitted in the hospital for knee surgery. However, the amount is ready and the amount shall be deposited within a period of two weeks from today. The period to deposit that amount is extended by a period of two weeks from today.

The Petitioner - Amit Majumdar in Criminal Writ Petition No.5953 of 2024 shall produce the acknowledgment of

such payment in the Registry within that period. If, such an acknowledgment is produced, there shall be no further reference to the Court as far as Criminal Writ Petition No.5953 of 2024 is concerned. If, such an amount is not paid, then the matter be placed before the Court for further consideration. (S.M.MODAK, J.) (SARANG V. KOTWAL, J.)
