This matter is placed for compliance of the order dated 17th January 2025. The petitioners were directed to deposit a certain sum to the entities mentioned in the order and the 2nd respondent was directed to pay Rs. 1 lakh with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.

The office remarks show that the petitioners had shown compliance of that order. However, respondent no. 2 had not produced the acknowledgment showing compliance of the directions. 3.

Today, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 is present varsha

2-wp-6006-2024.doc in the Court and he has produced a receipt of Rs. 1 lakh received by the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. He submitted that the amount was transferred on 4th February 2025 but the receipt is showing date as 12th February 2025. He therefore, submitted that he has also duly complied with the directions. A copy of the receipt along with a covering letter of the learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. 4.

Thus, the compliance of the directions issued under the order dated 17th February 2025 is made and therefore, nothing further survives in this petition. It is finally disposed of. (S.M. MODAK, J) (SARANG V. KOTWAL, J) varsha
