By this petition petitioner is seeking expedite the trial pending before the Trial Court.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been charged under Section 376(2)(N), 506 read with Section 4, 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (for short "Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 ( for short "POCSO Act") and the case is pending before the learned Sessions Court. Petitioner is behind bar more than 4 years yet trial has not been concluded, hence requested to expedite the trial.

Learned APP submits that appropriate order be passed. 5.

Considering the submission of both the learned counsel as well as petitioner is behind bar more than 4 years, the Trial Court is directed to expedite and dispose of the trial within one year. 6.

Writ Petition is allowed and disposed of.
