By this petition sent through jail, the petitioner seeks a direction that both his sentences be directed to run concurrently i.e. sentence awarded in Sessions Case No. 14/2006 sentencing him to life imprisonment and sentence awarded in Sessions Case No. 209/2008 awarding him a sentence of one year. Learned A.P.P submits that the petition does not survive, inasmuch as, the petitioner has been released after SQ Pathan 1/2

43-WP-6638-2024.doc completing both the said sentences awarded in the aforesaid cases. Learned A.P.P has tendered a report dated 28th April 2025 to that effect.

From the said report, it appears that the petitioner was released from jail on 17th August 2024, after completing sentences awarded to him in both the aforesaid cases. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the petition. The same stands disposed of accordingly.
