The challenge in this petition is to an order issuing summons for offence punishable under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. 3.

Any order passed by the Special Court not being an interlocutory order is appealable before the High Court under Section 14 A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
