The Appellants are apprehending their arrest in Crime No. 103 of 2024 registered at Waduj Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 141, 143, 147, 365, 148, 149, 324, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3(2) (va) and 6 of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

I have heard the learned Counsel for the Appellants on interim protection. The learned Counsel for the Appellants submits that no specific overt-act is attributed to the Appellants. It is submitted that the allegations are general and ominibus. 3.

I have perused the First Information Report. Prima facie there appears to be substance in the submission of the learned Counsel for Appellants. In the result, the following order is passed.

O R D E R

A] Till decision of the present Appeal, in the event of arrest of the Appellants in C.R. No. 103/2024 registered with Waduj Police Station, they shall be released on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each with one surety in the like amount. B] The Appellants shall attend the concerned Police Station on 7th May 2024 and thereafter as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall cooperate in the investigation.
