It appears that statement of Respondent No.2 is also not recorded by the Investigating Officer as directed by this Court vide order dated 8 August 2024. If copy of the Appeal is supplied within one week, issue fresh notice to Respondent No.2, returnable on 1 October 2024.

In the meantime, the Investigating Officer shall comply with the order dated 8 August 2024 and place statement of Respondent No.2 on record on the next date of hearing.

Interim protection granted earlier shall continue to operate till the next date of hearing.
