The petition challenges the order dated 07.12.2022 passed by the learned Family Court, Akola, thereby granting interim maintenance of Rs.6,000/- per month to the respondents.

The contention is that the petitioner is already paying Rs.5,000/- per month to the respondents under interim order of maintenance passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Akola. It is further contended that till date, the amount of Rs.2,16,000/- is outstanding payable to the respondents and the petitioner is agreed to pay 50% of the outstanding amount within three weeks in two installments. 4.

The petitioner is directed to pay the first installment of Rs.54,000/-, within one week from today, to the respondents and remaining amount shall be paid within two weeks thereafter.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable within two weeks.

The effect and operation of the impugned order is stayed on payment of 50% of the outstanding amount to the respondents and also to continue to pay Rs.3,000/- per month to the respondents towards interim maintenance in the domestic violence proceeding.
