It is the petitioner's grievance that respondent Nos.11 and 12 have encroached over public premises adjacent to petitioner's property. The petitioner made several repeated grievances to the concerned Gram Panchayat and police, however action has not been taken. The police authority has issued notices to the petitioner which is a sort of preventive action taken by the police. In the situation, the petitioner seeks for setting aside the notices, registration of crime and appropriate action against the respondents.

It is apparent that the dispute is about encroachment on public premises, which may amount to nuisance. The petitioner may take appropriate action in Civil Court or file a private complaint to that effect. 4.

In view of above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
