This is an application seeking to quash the First Information Report No.606 of 2023 registered with Police Station Bhadravati dist.Chandrapur for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 504 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted that yet the charge-sheet has not been filed. The applicants are husband and in-laws of informant lady. It is submitted that two months preceding to the lodgment of the report, decree of divorce has been passed. According to the applicants in order to pressurise the husband, false report has been lodged.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable in six weeks.
