The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue in relation to quashing of the proceeding for protection of women from Domestic Violence Act, 2025 is referred to the Larger Bench. 3.

This Court vide order dated 14.08.2025 directed the petitioner to deposit 50% amount i.e. Rs.1 lakh within a period of four weeks and balance of Rs.1 lakh in next four weeks. The learned Counsel for the petitioner in this regard submits that further 15 days Rgd.

Order 1009wp209.24 time may be granted in order to deposit the initial amount of Rs.1 lakh, and the balance of Rs.1 lakh would be deposited thereafter, as directed under order dated 14.08.2025.

Considering the fact that the issue is pending before the Larger Bench, it would be appropriate to adjourn the matter by four weeks. However, in the interest of justice, 15 days time is extended for depositing the amount of Rs. 1 lakh, as prayed for. Rest of the order dated 14.08.2025 would remain as it is.
