The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this Court, by an order dated 17/11/2025, directed the petitioner to deposit an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- within four weeks, however, the period of four weeks expired on 15/12/2025. She further submits that today she is ready with a demand draft of Rs.1,00,000/-, which she will deposit during the course of the day.

The petitioner is permitted to deposit the amount of Rs.1,00,000/-. The Registry is directed to accept the said demand draft.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that she has filed an application for withdrawal of amount of Rs.2,00,000/-, which was deposited by the petitioner, including the

6-Cr.WP-209-2024 amount which is likely to be deposited today by way of demand draft. The said application is allowed. The respondent is permitted to withdraw the amount of Rs.2,00,000/-. The Registry shall release the amount of Rs.2,00,000/- in favour of the respondent-wife within a period of two weeks.
