By this petition, the petitioners have challenged the order of issuance of summons in the proceeding PWDVA No.20/2022 filed by the respondents under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that whether the proceeding under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 can be quashed, if the issue pending at Principal Seat of this Court at Mumbai which is yet to be decided. In view of that, this petition be listed after four weeks.

In the meantime, the proceeding before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Chamorshi be stayed till next date.
