The petitioner has impugned herein five show cause notices issued in terms of Section 59 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951. In normal course we would not have entertained the petition raising the challenge to show cause notice. However, it reveals that without taking any action, repeated similar notices have been issued. 2.

The State to take instructions in this regard and make submission about the status of the show cause notices.
