This is an application seeking to quash criminal prosecution namely Sessions Case No.421/2019 arising out of Crime No.266/1987 registered with Police Station Gadge Nagar, District - Amravati, for the offence punishable under Sections 395, 147, 148, 149, 353, 332, 333, 324, 325, 336, 337, 447, 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/25 of Arms Act and Section 135 of the Bombay Police Act.

Learned counsel appearing for applicant has brought to the notice that on merits we have already quashed the proceeding against two coaccused in Criminal Writ Petition No.423/2023 vide order dated 12.04.2024. It is submitted that the applicant stands on a higher pedestal than those applicants.

Issue notice to the non-applicant, returnable on 03.07.2024.
