Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition with direction to the investigating agency to expedite the proceeding under Section 8 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (MPID) Act, 1999.

Considering the submissions made, the process is already initiated by the investigating officer for the issuance of Notification 8 of the MPID Act.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to file after the proceeding under Section 8 of the MPID Act was initiated by the investigating agency.

4.

The investigating agency is directed to take further steps and expedite the proceedings under Section 8 of the MPID Act.
