Heard. The prayer for furlough is rejected on the ground of the petitioner's failure to discharge the work as the punishment was that of rigorous imprisonment. 2.

We are informed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has now submitted to the jurisdiction of the Jail Superintendent, viz. carrying out the responsibility and the work which is assigned to him. 3.

In the wake of aforesaid, we deem it appropriate to direct the Jail Superintendent to file an affidavit dealing with the aforesaid issue within a period of two weeks from today.
