Learned Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) submits that the charge-sheet pursuant to First Information Report (FIR) registered vide Crime No. 210/2019 has been filed. The petitioner has approached this Court with a request to merge all other FIRs, which might have been filed subsequent to filing of FIR mentioned above. Thus, the petitioner is not even aware whether there are multiple FIRs filed against him. Learned APP submits that in addition to above FIR, one more FIR has been registered vide Crime No. 749/2019 with Rajapeth Police Station, Amravati. He further submits that investigation in the said FIR, however, has been complete. The petitioner is lodged in Bharatpur Prison, Rajasthan and his production will be sought for filing charge-sheet. We failed to understand why production of petitioner is necessary for filing charge-sheet. Learned APP and the Investigating Officer should go through the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of Satender Kumar Antil Vs. CBI [2022 SCC Online 825] and take appropriate steps in this regard.
