Perused the prayers. The petitioner is seeking investigation in the complaint lodged by him. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) submits that cognizance of the complaint has been taken and First Information Report is lodged. Investigation is in progress and charge-sheet will be filed in due course. If that be so, the purpose of filing petition is served.

At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner has invited our attention to order dated 30-1-2025 passed by this Court (Coram : Nitin W. Sambre & Mrs. Vrushali V. Joshi, JJ.) which reads as under :- "Heard.

Perusal of the case diary depicts that though Crime No.0012/2024 punishable under Sections 420, 498-A, 376(2)(f), 376(2)(n), 354-A and 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code is registered the investigation has not progressed till this date. 3.

That being so, we direct the Senior P.I. of the respondent Police Station to file an affidavit explaining the investigation carried out in the matter till this date.

Let the affidavit be placed on record within four weeks from today.

Stand over to 27.2.2025."

Learned APP submits that reply has been filed saying that one accused has been arrested, however, five others are absconding. He further submits that the efforts are being made to arrest these accused, who are residents of Delhi. Investigating Officer shall expeditiously complete the investigation and file charge-sheet.

List the petition in the week commencing from 10-11-2025.

In case, the progress in investigation is not shown by next date, we may think to transfer the investigation to other agency.
