The furlough leave granted vide order dated 20/10/2021 is not given effect as the petitioner has failed to furnish the surety.

The petitioner earlier has availed the prison leave during Covid Pandemic period and has surrendered within time.

Considering the conduct and the fact that he is in open prison, we deem it appropriate to relax the condition of furnishing the surety and the petitioner be released on executing his personal bond.

The Writ Petition is allowed in above terms.
