The Superintendent of Police, Bhandara passed the externment order under Section 55 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951 externing the petitioners for a period of two years from the territory of District Bhandara. The order came to be challenged before the Divisional Commissioner under Section 60 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951, which came to be dismissed. Hence, this petition.
