The basic contention of the learned Advocate for the petitioner is that on the basis of the individualistic offences the proceeding has been initiated against the petitioner and others under Section 55 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951. It is submitted that the action initiated against the petitioner and others, on the basis of the individualistic crimes alleged to have been committed by
2.cri.wp.839.2024.odt them, cannot be sustained. I have gone through the record. The prosecution would require time to explain by filing reply and deal with the contentions raised by the petitioner.

In view of this, in the meantime till next date there shall be stay to the impugned order dated 02.10.2024 passed by the Superintendent of Police, Chandrapur.
