The petitioner who is running a lodging house has impugned the order dated 27.09.2024 passed by the Sub Divisional Officer, Umred in terms of Section 18 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. It is primely canvassed that the show cause notice does not specify that the activities of petitioner were within a distance of 200 meters of any public place, as referred in Section 7[i] of the Rgd.

Order 2110wp852.24 Act. Thus, according to the petitioner, the action of seizure itself is untenable.

Issue notice for final disposal to respondents, returnable on 24.10.2024. Learned A.P.P. waives notice for respondents.
