This is an application for suspension of sentence. The appellant, on conviction, has been sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 15 years and to pay a fine of Rs.20,000/-. The learned Judge, on analysis of the evidence, has held that the prosecution has proved the charge against the appellant/accused. The crime committed was a serious crime. 2.

I do not see any substance in this application. No case has been made out for suspension of sentence pending hearing of the appeal. The application is rejected. CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. 274 OF 2024 3.
