This is an application for condonation of 255 days delay in filing the appeal against the judgment and order dated 4th October, 2023. The learned Judge, on conviction, has sentenced the accused to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 3 years for the offence punishable under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 5.

The reasons have been stated in the application. Considering the facts and circumstances, the delay deserves to be condoned. Accordingly, it is condoned.
