This is an application for condonation of 77 days delay in filing the appeal against the impugned judgment and order dated 21.05.2024, passed by the learned Extra Joint District Judge and Additional Sessions Judge, Akola. The appellant/accused has been sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay a

2/3 fine of Rs.3000/- for the offences punishable under Sections 354, 354-A of the Indian Penal Code along with Section 7/8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and suffer rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years and to pay a fine of Rs.2000, for the offences punishable under Section 354-D of the Indian Penal Code alongwith Section 11(iv)/12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

In view of the facts stated in the application, the application is allowed. The delay of 77 days caused in filing the appeal is condoned. 6.

The appeal be registered.
