This is an application for suspension of sentence awarded by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Risod,
-2- 9.REVN.146.2024.odt and confirmed in appeal by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-1, Washim. The substantive sentence on two counts is 11⁄2 years. The applicant has deposited the fine. This revision will be heard finally at the admission stage. 8.
In view of this, the substantive sentence, i.e., simple imprisonment for 11⁄2 years for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, "IPC") and simple imprisonment for 11⁄2 years for the offence punishable under Section 354-A of the IPC, awarded by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Risod in Regular Criminal Case No.186/2013, and confirmed in appeal by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-1, Washim, shall remain suspended during the pendency of the revision application. ii] Applicant/accused - Gajanan S/o. Sitaram More be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with one surety in the like amount.
