The Applicant seeks permission to withdraw the interest on the salary of Rs.45,300/- deposited in the Court. 3.

We have perused the order dated 26.06.2024. This Court, while passing the said order, granted permission to withdraw the salary of Rs.45,300/-; however, it refused to grant interest on it.

The learned Counsel for the Applicant pointed out that the salary was kept in Fixed Deposit, and the amount claimed is the interest accrued on the said amount; therefore, the Applicant is entitled to said interest.

The learned APP for the Non-applicant No.1/State has no objection to the same.

The Office to verify whether an amount of Rs.45,300/- was kept in Fixed Deposit and the interest of Rs.24,982/- was accrued on the said amount. If that being so, we permit the Applicant to withdraw the said amount. 7.

The Application is accordingly allowed in the above terms.
