Rule is made returnable forthwith. With the consent of the learned Counsel for the parties as well as the learned APP, the petition is disposed of in terms of the following order. 3.
The petitioner and the respondent no.2 have amicably settled the dispute, in the sense, the petitioner has tendered
unconditional apology to the respondent no.2. The respondent no.2, in turn, accepted the apology and now has no grievance against the petitioner.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in the petition and as such, the petition stands disposed of in terms of prayer clause (a) of the petition as hereinbelow.
"The impugned order dated 22nd November, 2023 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Dadar, Mumbai in C.C. No.
130/PW/2021 is quashed and set aside."

Since the matter is disposed of and in light of the fact that the Police machinery was put into motion, the petitioner voluntarily seeks to contribute the Department by depositing an amount of Rs.10,000/-, which shall be deposited in the following bank account of the Central Police Welfare Fund, within two weeks from today.
