Learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to amend the application so as to implead the victim as party respondent no.2.

Amendments to be carried out within a period of one week from today.

After amendments are carried out, issue notice to the respondent no.2, returnable on 30/4/2024. Learned APP waives service of notice on behalf of the State. The Investigating Officer to inform the respondent no. 2 the next date of hearing and that she has a right to be represented by the advocate or through legal aid.

If an application for exemption is made by the applicant before the trial Court on the scheduled date that is on 2/4/2024, the trial Court is requested to exempt the appearance of the applicant.
