The petitioners are charge-sheeted for offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406, 323, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. The FIR was registered on 4th December 2018.

It is submitted that the marriage was dissolved with decree of divorce by mutual consent. The parties have settled the matter. It was agreed between the parties that the complainant would co-operate for quashing the proceedings with her consent. However, she is not coming forward to give her consent for quashing proceedings.

Issue notice to Respondent No.2, returnable on 5th July 2024. 5.

In the meantime, the proceedings before the trial Court are stayed till the next date of hearing.
