Parties have settled the dispute. The complainant has no objection for quashing the proceedings. However, in the present case, the provisions of POCSO Act are invoked.

The issue whether the proceedings in the crime under the provisions of POCSO Act can be quashed by consent of victim after she becomes major, is pending for consideration before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 4.
