By these applications, the applicant seeks quashing and setting aside of the LOC issued against him at the behest of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Thane.

Mr. Saste, learned Addl.P.P, on instructions, states that the EOW, Thane, has taken a decision to withdraw the LOC issued as against the applicant in both the C.Rs i.e. C.R.No. 220 of 2018 and 111 of 2019, both, registered with the Kalyan Police Station and subsequently, transferred to EOW, Thane, for investigation. Learned Addl.P.P has tendered a Police Report dated 30th September, 2024 of Shri.Sandeep Gite, Police Inspector attached to EOW, Thane Rural. The same is taken on record.

Mr. Saste submits that the said decision has been communication to the Immigration Authority. Statement accepted. 4.

In view of the aforesaid that the LOC has been withdrawn, nothing survives for further consideration in the aforesaid applications.

Needless to state, that till the time, chargesheet / appropriate report is filed against the applicant, the applicant to continue to inform his travel itinerary with all details, including the address where he would stay, telephone/mobile/contact numbers, on which he can be contacted during the said period, to the concerned Police Inspector, EOW, Thane, 48 hours before his departure, via email/fax or any other electronic mode. Similarly, on his return, the applicant to inform the Police Inspector attached to EOW, Thane, of his return, within 48 hours.

With the aforesaid directions, the applications are allowed and disposed of accordingly.
