By this application, the applicant seeks quashing and setting aside of the FIR registered as against the applicant vide C.R.No. 391 of 2024 with the Taluka Police Station, Thane Rural, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 109, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under the provisions of the SC/ST Act. Mrs. Shinde, learned Addl.P.P on instructions, states that although, the applicant was named as one of the accused in the aforesaid C.R, during the course of investigation, the Police did not find any material against the applicant and as such, chargesheet has not been filed as against the applicant. She further states that however, chargesheet has been filed against the other accused in the aforesaid C.R. Statement accepted.

In view of the statement made by the learned Addl.P.P that the Police have not filed chargesheet against the applicant for want of evidence, nothing survives for further consideration in the aforesaid application.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
