By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the learned Sessions Court at Wai, Satara for the expeditious MAMTA AMAR KALE disposal of Criminal Appeal No.63 of 2023 (previously MAMTA AMAR KALE Date: 2025.04.04 20:20:33 +0530 registered as Criminal Appeal No. 3 of 2019). 3.

The learned counsel submits that the incident giving rise to the present proceedings dates back to the year 1999, and despite the considerable passage of time, the appeal has remained pending since the year 2019. It is further submitted that the petitioner (original complainant) is currently 74 years __________________________________________________ 4 April 2025

It is also brought to the Court's attention that the paper book in respect of the appeal has been duly prepared and made ready as of October 2023, and no procedural impediments appear to exist for proceeding with the hearing. 4.

Having regard to the aforesaid circumstances, and considering the advanced age of the petitioner as well as the prolonged pendency of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to request the learned Sessions Judge at Wai, District Satara, to take up the Criminal Appeal No. 63 of 2023 for hearing and to dispose it of expeditiously on its own merits and in accordance with the law.
