In this case, the learned APP has submitted a report of the Investigating Officer showing that the Respondent No.2 is informed about the pendency of this application. The Respondent No.2 has sought assistance of legal aid counsel. Considering this situation, the Legal Services Authority of this Court is requested to appoint a suitable advocate from their panel to represent the Respondent No.2.

Learned APP shall take instructions in that behalf as to why the informant is not available for cross-examination since February 2024.

Stand over to 12/08/2024.

In the meantime, the trial which has started, shall go on expeditiously and both the sides shall co-operate with the expeditious disposal of the trial.
