In this application on 24th January, 2024, while issuing notice, this Court has specifically directed that the investigating officer shall serve respondent No.2 and file report of service. The office note shows that service is awaited.

The applicant is said to have been arrested in the year 2018. 3.

In that view of the matter, the learned APP to take specific instructions regarding service of notice on respondent No.2. 4.

Upon service of respondent No.2, if the said respondent desires legal aid, the High Court Legal Services Committee shall forthwith appoint an Advocate from its panel to represent respondent No.2. 5.
