Heard Mr. Tiwari, learned Advocate for Applicant and Ms. Newton, learned APP for Respondent No.1 - State. 2.

The facts in the present case create a sorry picture. There is a remark by the Registry that Advocate for Applicant has not carried out the amendment till date. Amendment order was passed on 03.04.2024. The Advocate for Applicant has been appointed in the month of August 2024 but he is not even aware of the order. 3.

Be that as it may, Advocate for Applicant is directed to carry out the amendment forthwith and implead the prosecutrix i.e. victim as party Respondent through the concerned Police Station. Amendment is permitted to be carried out in the presence of the Court.

In view of the above, issue notice to Respondent No.2. Humdast permitted.

Ms. Newton, learned APP waives service on behalf of Respondent No.1 - State.

Mr. Tiwari, learned Advocate for Applicant is directed to serve a copy of the Application to the concerned APP and Investigating Officer directly without delay.

Investigating Officer is directed by this Court to depute a lady police officer and obtain Respondent No.2's consent for legal representation so that appropriate order can be passed on the next adjourned date for appointment of Legal Aid Advocate to represent and espouse the cause of Respondent No.2.

Let the above exercise be carried out within a period of one week from today. Learned APP shall coordinate with the IO concerned and intimate this order to him.

Let the aforesaid exercise be completed within a period of one week from today.
