During the course of arguments, it transpired that if the applicant is able to give an appropriate undertaking to this Court with regard to the manner in which he would protect the interest of the first informant, the application can be heard in the backdrop of a possible solution for the grievance of the first informant.

In that regard, the applicant is permitted to file an affidavit on or before 19th November 2024 containing suitable undertaking. The jail authority shall assist the applicant for swearing the affidavit to be filed within the said period of time.
