The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that in the present case offences under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) have been registered, but the victim has expired. In that light, he submits that if this Court grants leave, the father of the victim can be added as respondent No.2.

In view of the above, the applicant is permitted to add the father of the victim as respondent No.2. The amendment be carried out within two days from today.

Issue notice to newly added respondent No.2, returnable on 28th June 2024. Respondent No.2 shall be served through the
