Considering that the accusations are also under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, the present appeal under Section 14A of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, is not maintainable. The appellant has to prefer a bail application instead. The present appeal, therefore, needs to be converted into an application for bail. 2.

Necessary amendments to be carried out within 1 week from today.
