By the present Application, Applicant is seeking bail in Crime No.578 of 2022. Said crime is registered as Sessions Case No.17 of 2023 and is pending before the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge, Karad.

After having heard the matter for some time and upon this Court having expressed its view of not being inclined to entertain the present Application, Mr. Veerdhaval Kakade, learned Advocate for the Applicant, on instructions from the Applicant, craves leave to withdraw the present Application. Leave to withdraw the present Application is granted.

Mr. Veerdhaval Kakade submits that the trial of Sessions Case No.17 of 2023 be expedited.

Mr. T. G. Khan, learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer, submits that the prosecution will complete and conclude the examination of all the prosecution witness/s in Sessions Case No.17 of 2023, within a period of one year from today i.e. on or before 31st July, 2026. Statement made by Mr. T. G. Khan is accepted. Prosecution to act an abide by the statement made by Mr. T. G. Khan learned APP.

In the event of examination of the prosecution witness/s is not concluded by 31st July, 2026, Applicant is at liberty to file a fresh Bail Application before the learned Trial Court, which shall be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law.

Criminal Bail Application No.1140 of 2024 disposed of in the above said terms.
