By order dated 24.09.2024, this Court had issued the following direction:

As it is claimed that the Trial Court proceedings are at fag end and only the Investigating Officer is to be examined, the next date being 30.09.2024, the concerned Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings, complete the trial and render judgment at the earliest, preferably within a period of five weeks from today."

The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that despite the aforesaid direction, the trial has not been completed within the stipulated period of time.

The learned APP seeks short adjournment to take specific instructions in the matter.
