In this application, since offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 have been registered, as per order passed by this Court on 29.04.2024, the applicant amended the application to add respondent No.2. The office note shows that the respondent No.2 is not served because notice could not be issued, due to the fact that a spare copy was not supplied.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that respondent No.2 had appeared on her own before the Court. But, there is nothing on record to show that respondent No.2 is represented by any advocate. 3.

In this situation, the applicant is directed to serve notice through the Investigating Officer for which purpose, the applicant shall provide additional set of papers to the Investigating Officer within one week from today.

The application shall now be listed for further consideration on 13.08.2024, High on Board.
